This myth needs to die. Denver did not stack the line as much as people think. They played a lot of straight up, base defense.

B.S. They play a natural 3-4, they played 5 rushers and 3 LBs (with the FS playing as a LB to cover the flat).

A few of the beat writers went back and watched the game and said the notion that Dallas was facing stacked lines the entire game is an overstatement.

He didn't laud him for the Denver game. According to the OP, he just said zeke was a bigger reason for the Cowboys success last year. He might not be wrong.

Im saying it’s a part of his premise and support for it is a game they both played poorly. He’s shown himself to be kinda an idiot so I’m just running with it

I was listening to one of the Sirius NFL shows when Williams popped up as a guest speaker. Here are a few of his comments about Dak:

  • I've been saying all along, Dak is a game manager.
  • Dak can't win a game like a Brady can.
  • Zeke is the reason more than Dak that the Cowboys won so much last year
  • There's a reason Dak was only a 4th round pick. You saw why yesterday

One freaking bad game and the cockroaches come out of the woodwork.

Wait. So he's saying that he's not as good as a 5 time superbowl winner in only the second game of his second year as a starter. Thanks for the update, Deangelo. Hey. Here's an idea. How about Williams focus on coming to terms with the reality that no teams want him. Including the ones on that pathetic list he put together this offseason. Good lord. Sad part is he sounds like a lot the knee jerk fans on here.

Russell Wilson has been getting the same kind of criticism as Dak for most of his career. Critics going to be critical.

And Russell Wilson is a second-tier QB who has lived off his defense. Let's hope Dak can be more than that eventually.

There now is a year worth of tape on Dak, teams are better prepared for him this year, it is up to him to evolve to the next level.

I think Dak will be fine. Yes, he needs to improve his accuracy. The problem I saw in both games is the play calling seems to be pass over run. If they continue this approach, Dak is in trouble.

Cliched nonsense

Dak has been shaky since the Raiders pre season game, and that had nothing to do with tape

LOL! Game manager that had a 104 qb rating and completed 68% of his passes with a 8ypa. Bottom line the competition is up a notch because teams have more tape on him, let's see how he responds. He is 18 games into his young career, and oh yeah one of the most successful 18 games ever. He is strong, smart, has a NFL arm, works hard and is a leader, I can be patient with any growing pains at this point.

It's funny how people talk out of both sides of their mouths. He is only good because they have the best line ever and Zeke is all world...ok how'd they do Sunday? Did not look unstoppable to me.

People are actively trying to believe the worst in this kid. Why so much hate?

Its not hate at all. I love the kid. I think its the complete overrating him last year. I had to hear he is better than Brady etc. It drove me crazy. Why are obessed if one of our players are better than anyone. Just like our defense is awesome blah blah blah. Come on. Just slow down a bit. Let the kid play. I never bought into we have our QB for the next 12 years. Not yet. Lets see what happens. Ill root hard for the guy. What choice do i have really. I know this old news and it should stay old news. I always thought Romo should have got his job back and how they handled it sucked. But thats over with now. Nothing we can do. So ill root for this kid as hard as i can. But just slow down guys. Dak is not Tom Brady and never will be. But who cares if he is not. If Dak is our QB than this team has to be built to his capabilities. We need a great running game and ball control and mostly the lead. Thats how we will win games. But Dak has to the ball 40 times a game most likely we will lose.
