A---The Super Bowl is the only thing that matters. If we don't go, how can we really be called Americas Team? Speaking of that, are we Americas team? Americas team is supposed to be good sometimes. We haven't been good in a quarter century. I know we are ok sometimes.'But that's not what Americas team is supposed to look like.

B---Competitive team and it will be great if we have a chance to go a couple games into the playoffs, but there is always next year. I can't wait for Mel Kipers version 1.0 to come out. You know all those guys being drafted want to come to Americas team. we need youth to add to our entertainment empire.

C--- We have Dak, and Dez, and Witten and maybe this week Zeek, and perhaps Lee's hammy will be good for a few hours, But it doesn't matter cause we get to see our team on SNF or MNF and you know something is going to happen. Something always happens. Good or bad, the next day everyone will know why we ar Americas team. That's why we get all the national games , alll these players America wants to see.

What are some more types we have, help me out...sometimes laughter is the best medicine...

I want a team that plays hard and is competitive, I am old enough to know super bowls are sometimes like unicorns and the best team does not always win(Giants), Games like San Fran are as difficult as games like Denver for me to watch. I cannot stand poor coaching especially when it involves clock management. I cringe at the charges against Zeke and am embarrassed by Michael Irvin and his crew in the mid nineties off the field. Loses slow me down the next day but I recover and am excited by the next game after that brief moment of sorrow. Yes Jerry Jones is a carnival barker.

I have a different definition of America's Team. I think that crowd in SF personifies the nickname. Go to the team hotel at any road game and you will know why the Cowboys are America's Team. I'm not saying other teams don't have a contingency of fans, but no team compares to the Dallas Cowboys. Look at the ratings. People want to argue that Green Bay/Pittsburgh/New England are the real America's Team, but the ratings don't bare that out. The Dallas Cowboys are the NFL's biggest draw. Period. It has never had anything to do with winning Super Bowls. In fact, the nickname came about after a Super Bowl LOSS. That being said, there is something magical about the Dallas Cowboys winning (or even being in) the Super Bowl and not just to Cowboys fans. That's what America's Team is about. There is an aura around the star that even 1-15 couldn't make go away. We have a new generation of fans who I want to experience a championship. It is the ultimate goal, but being America's Team is so much more and has never been about rings.

I first heard "America's Team" when I was 10 years old. I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now.

This is me:. The Americas Team debate is tired. Plain & simple - look at the ratings, overall team value and the merchandise sales; it's pretty clear who still owns the title, regardless of the product on the field.

As for my perspective, as usual, I think they are building something great here, but it is taking longer than expected for them to get deep into the playoffs. I do like this current roster better than I have in a long time... though there are few still remaining that are head-scratchers... Kellen. All in all, I think they have the ingredients to make something happen, but the key truth of the NFL that fans need to accept is the best team doesn't always win.

We are #1 in revenue and popularity . That’s our front office priority and what now defines America’s Team.

Success on the football used to drive revenue but Jerry’s revolutionary streams he was recently inducted for have only maximized our franchise popularity with past generations which are still addicted and committed to winning but with current leadership left frustrated with results and ambitions of Jerry Jone$.

I used to be Super Bowl or bust. Now after 20+ years of mediocrity I have learned to just enjoy the sport and just be happy when the Cowboys are good. I'm sad to say I currently hate the NFL which is a different topic. I no longer watch the NFL except my Cowboys. Since I love the sport so much I have now tried watching local high schools to get my football fix in. I love it. I get to watch football in its purest form, no money involved and love for the game and I get to enjoy the game while hanging out with my kid. Better than sitting in front of the tube while my kid plays with his toys.
I no longer live and die with a Cowboys win or lose. I have learned to just enjoy the fact that I'm watching football.

I want a SB but I want us to be a consistent playoff team. This mediocrity where we have a good year every few years and never follow up on it is getting old.

Fans want a competitive team, with capable healthy players, who can execute their offense, defense and special teams scheme better than their opponents, and win every game but will settle for winning the necessary games that will accumulate with a playoff berth, postseason run and end with a Lombardi. Differences between fans exist due to individual self-motivation empowering their patience in seeing the fulfillment of these vital interconnected circumstances AND personal comprehension in deciphering how they might ultimately unfold.

The Dallas Cowboys are America’s Team. It is a nickname John Facenda labeled the franchise in the late 1970’s, which was decades after no one else thought to label any other NFL team with that particular nickname—even for several decades BEFORE the Dallas Cowboys existed. The practice of labeling a team or player with a particular nickname is not unique. What is unusual concerns the rationale of transferring a nickname from one team or player to another team or player—even though the methodology is not universally applied in all situations and definitely never overwhelming acknowledged each time a discussion surfaces.

Players like Prescott and Elliott make up the core of this team. The makeup is another circumstance not unique in the sport but a core of superstars does not win Super Bowls. Championships are won by a combination of playmakers like Dak and Ezekiel, good support players, proper coaching, relative health and sometimes a bit or two of timely good fortune. How and to what degree each Dallas Cowboys fan recognizes this necessity rests with him or her.

How old are you now? Maybe it is a generation type thing. But it was not a self proclaimed title. NFL films gave to us. Tex Schramm, the genius he was, took it and marketed it. Maybe you became a fan because of it and didn't realize it. But now as a fan you are part of it. Embrace it!
