I always liked Kenny and I thought he would do a good job for Oakland after spending time on the Seahawks staff. I thought last years Raiders were built similar to Dallas in that the Offense was what won them games and despite having K. Mack, the Defensive was below average especially in the secondary. This year the D got exposed and they are getting lit up. I'm sure Kenny will be on another staff quickly as a position coach.

They are struggling like we have of late. Someone had to go. Del Rio will be sacked at some point.

The picture Sunday of an overweight Marc Davis stuffing his face with popcorn while his team was down 23-0 was priceless. And Tony Romo chimed in by remarking “ he appears to be on pins and needles” helped make a bad game watchable.

Maybe they need to fire their offensive coordinator. That offense should be performing near the top of the league with that talent.

Raiders are pretty much out of playoff contention. Dallas has 4 games in a row where they will be favored to win, that’s the difference here.

I think he was a recent fan candidate for the HC gig in Dallas, wasn't he?

Not that I recall. He might have been mentioned by a handful but there are names out there that people were more behind than Norton.

I think he was mentioned in your next-coach thread yesterday, but I could be wrong.

It's always funny how people immediately want coaches as soon as they get fired. For apparently being crappy coaches.... just sayin'

He'd be better than Garrett!

Right? He'd have to be, since he's not the worst coach in the NFL, and I have it on good authority that Jason Garrett most definitely is.
