Did he get cut at some point earlier this season? Haven’t heard from him for awhile.
I think Pea getting hurt/retiring really hurt Collins. They had to move him over and he is not a NT/1T. He is a 3T and he started off well the first few games this year. Draft a stud 1T, move Collins back to his natural spot and call it a day.
The MCollins situation is based on lack of depth. MCollins is placed out of position
out of need. My #1 need in coming draft is D1 as many have mentioned.
We could end uposing MC because of mishandling him.
Collins is not a DEJust another notch on Garretts belt, having DEs play DT for years now.
Sorry, was referring to previous posters comment on Crawford and Irving.Collins is not a DE
Still, he is out of position, so you were half right.![]()
My bad, DW00ds0n!!!Sorry, was referring to previous posters comment on Crawford and Irving.
It seems the OP is the only person that does not know Collins is playing out of position and on a bad foot.1T. This season is basically a wash for MCollins. Sucks, he missed out on some great development, had our incompetent FO not misidentified their good 1T to line up next to him. If they even put a lot of time into scouting the 1T (Thornton; to a lesser degree Paea) before they were signed.
He was essentially robbed of a season. We are the Browns sometimes. For instance, look what the Browns are doing to Peppers. He's been out of position all year. (Deep FS to MCollin's 1T.) Their FO are in love with SPARQ warriors, too. Well, they were before they fired Sashi (their old GM, amongst handwringing and pointing fingers at everyone) and hired the weird and enigmatic Dorsey.
He is playing with what Brad Sham described during the Commanders game as a "broken" foot. Not sure what the actual severity is.
also he was moved over to 1 tackle a lot.
We are blessed to have Marinelli but you guys all ready know that.
no problem man, I should be the one using quotesMy bad, DW00ds0n!!!
