Dez will go off

That's a wonderful pipe dream. Well two of them actually. 1. That we will cut Dez and his horrible contract. 2. That BB would want Dez or 3. That Dez will be worth a plug nicel anywhere. Ok, so that's three instead of two. You got the bonus package on this post.
'Copy' ,,,you got change for this penny? As I place a value on yer' insights, SPORTS FAN,,,o_O

I just want to see Switzer get his hands on the ball don't really give a damn about our wideouts. There's nothing Dez could do between now and the end of the year that's going to change the fact he's either got to take a pay cut or he's gone.

Preach it!

Dez will go off... the board like a dead chess piece because he sucks. I'm looking for Brice Butler to have a good game today. He came from the Raiders and you know he wants to show them boys what they are missing out on. He may need to leave that calling card too because I don't think the Cowboys keep him around for next season.

Ooooooook, he's not only inactive he didn't even make the trip. I'm adding another one to that list, if I would've known this I wouldn't have debated you on the fumble backwards play from last week.

You are a little late to the game on telling me that. I've already been informed. That's my fault for watching Cowboys Special Edition this morning where they give out bad information.

Well dang! I just watched Cowboys Special Edition talking about Brice Butler looking to bounce back from missing last weeks game due to concussion and play his old team in Oak-town. I bought the hype. Thanks for the update, @CF74.

Well I hope my info is 48hrs old and outdated, fan of Butler when he’s healthy lol

I’m one of his biggest fans but he doesn’t have that explosion anymore.. When I watch him run it makes me grimace, one to many injuries making circus catches over the years has finally caught up to him.

He’s an overpaid possession receiver these days. Put him in a different scheme and he will put up better numbers though..

It’s like Anquan Boldin Part Deaux....

I think his lack of explosion is a little overstated on this website. What's bothering me about Dez is drops. There's passes he should be catching.

Big game, national T.V. against another storied team. I think Dez has a big game. If not, then I'm about ready to switch sides. If star players can't get up for this game then Dilly, Dilly. I'm rooting for him to break out.

I had to check to see if you meant "go off" as in have a big night or "go off" as in a sideline rant because he's unhappy with his targets. :muttley:

Dez didn't make the trip? Have the coaches figured him out?

I have defended Dez just as much as anyone on here but his drops are very concerning. I think most of his issues is with playcalling and the routes he is ask to run. No motion, hardly any slants. Just no creativity what's so ever. That being said he has had some balls he has just dropped.

I think a pay cut is in order with incentives. I don't like to question his passion but making him work for the money might give him that extra motivation.

He still has talent but as of right now it's wasting away

I think it's great when people look at things realistically. I know Dez hasn't been put in a perfect situation to succeed but I think part of it is the team doesn't trust Dez to run certain routes.

Dez has control over his route running so he should make an effort to improve it. He can't control if an uncatchable ball is thrown in his direction, but the drops are adding to the negative side of his balance sheet.

I think Dez is starting to feel the pressure mounting from his recent struggles and is pressing and that's the cause of his drops.

I hope he's efficient. Don't need a huge game necessarily, but hoping for a few big plays and a TD. Which is good enough for me and my FF team.
