He has no case

He should never be a finalist

Talk to the hand.....

"Romo was signed an undrafted free agent. He ranks fourth in passing yards, third in touchdown passes and fourth in starts among undrafted players since 1970, according to Elias Sports Bureau research.

Though Romo had an impressive regular-season career, his 248 passing touchdowns and 34,183 passing yards rank second and fourth, respectively, among players never to play in a conference championship game, according to Elias."

If they put him in, they might as well close the doors on the place. It'll be worthless

Bring in bums like Mathew Stafford

Kenny Anderson put up great numbers in a time were DB could mug receivers and he can't get a sniff

Boomer Esiason was league MVP, went to a SB, has 237 in a real era of football and he's never been a semi finalist

But usher in Romo because of sentimental value?

Please

Put him in the hall of above average and let's call it a day!

Do you support Eli getting in?

It bothers you terribly that he's even in the discussion. Unfortunate soul you are. Something of so little consequence to your own life has such impact.

Just to be clear, what do you consider to be 'a real era of football?' Sammy Baugh, Sid Luckman, Otto Graham never won a Lombardi. Unitas career pass completion is around 54% with an interception percent of 4.8. Would they be considered in 'a real era of football?'

What about Jan Stenerud?
Sonny Jurgensen, 32,000+ yards, 255TDs, 82.xx% passer rating?

Looks like it depends on your criteria as to who should get in and who should not.

How about just go through the list of everybody in the Hall and tell us who shouldn't be in, okay?

We'll be waiting.

Guys I think should be in:
Ken Anderson - A stud in that era.
Roger Craig - should've been in years ago.

Guy who shouldn't have made it on first ballot:
Troy Aikman - Top 5 playoff QB, not enough longevity to justify a first ballot selection
Warren Moon - Put him in the hall of numbers

Guy who should've rode the Earl Campbell, Gale Sayers, great but short run of dominance to first ballot status:
Michael Irvin - People don't realize how great he was.
