We hate on JG, some more than others and some even clamored for Jon Gruden. Why?

Any fool can say, JG sucks. Give me replacement and not some college guy who has NEVER coached a game in the NFL and a team full of prima donna players who make more than a coach not named Chucky

In one of the interviews by Gruden, he specifically mentions one of the first things he wanted work on is to get a scheme to fit D. Carr's talents so he has best chance to succeed.

This is what JG should have done with Dak after 2016 season instead of still running the "Romo friendly" offense in 2017.
I just read Stephen Jones saying that they will try to get the offense to be more Dak friendly and move away from Romo's offense next year. Year too late.

You say HC, I say OC. You say tomato I say tomatoe. potato potatoe. That's the OC's job. Linnehan is the play caller.

I would suggest we do as the rams, 49ers and eagles have all done recently. look for young, up and coming and innovative offensive coordinators. mcvay, shanahan and Pederson have all done wonders for their teams. last year goff was considered a bust. this year under mcvay, he's an all star. garoppolo won all his starts with the 49ers under shanahan. Pederson has helped wentz get better and better. our qb regressed. the first three have innovative oc's and hc's. dak is hamstrung with garrett and linehan and their 90's offense.

He took his team to the SB with the Raiders the year before Dungy..

And he didn’t have Romo saving him..

And Garrett only beat 12 teams his that ended the season over .500 wins, meaning Garrett’s wins are basically Romo coming back against bum teams after abandoning the weekly Garrett game plan of suckage that couldn’t beat even mediocre teams.
Again a stupid A post, all Coaches have qbs doing the job for them, since the coach can't get on field. They went 13-3 last season with a rookie and no Romo to save him as you put it.

Evaluating Garretts Game Day coaching ability doesn’t fully measure his value to a dysfunctional football franchise ran by the Football Idiot.

It's both of their jobs but HC is the one that should have the foresight and needs to initiate it. After all, OC works for the HC. Not the other way around.
Well from what I know and have read, you're right to an extent. About the first 15-20 plays are scripted prior to the game by both. Practiced during the week by the team. BUT as the game goes along, Linnehan does not run back and forth on the sidelines checking with massa Garrett. The OC either makes adjustments or he doesn't after the script. If the script is successful you may see some repetition. In Linnehans case you will see mostly repetition, successful script or not

All except Shanahan will be one and done, also let's see what they do the next 5 years if they're still head coaches
