There's no point in trading Williams. We gain no cap space in doing so.
You keep him for Z/X depth as the only other outside capable receivers on the team as of now are Brown and Dez.
Even if we sign Hurns, Brown is still very raw as a receiver and his only quality NFL trait is his blocking.

This. Hurns has a 10 TD season, but is coming off injury. Dez and Williams aren’t going anywhere ... it would be Beasley

This visit is a head scratcher to me.

Why are they looking at Hurns? He's been injured and has consecutive down years. They're already having an issue with that.

He's certainly not better than your current #1 and will cost much more than your #2. And the fact that he's even talking to the Jets says he's looking for some of their huge cap room, which we don't have.

If this is an attempt to leverage Bryant for a paycut, it's a poor one. He and everyone's else knows he's much better than Hurns.

I'm just not seeing the positive angle on this one.

Brown was a 7th rounder for a reason. Yea I know, x player was a late round pick too...but Brown is what he is and I wouldnt pass up an opportunity for a proven young receiver to give Brown a shot or bank on another rookie.
