We need to add talent to the roster, hurns would do that without dez or twill leaving. Hurns could replace butlers role, and still draft a 2nd to 4th round guy to develop as the 6th wr. That would make sense since we lose beasley next year. Would also make sence to trade the beas at the deadline if his services aren't needed due to injury or if switzer plays well.

With no more talk of a wr drafted with our 1st we can keep loading up on the DL talent incase Dlaw continues to have back issues or dlaw, irving, randy get susp for ped's again.

I agree completely. Beasley is a matchup nightmare in the slot. Our coaching staff did not adapt to the way Beasley was being double teamed last year. Way to often Beasley was running a short in cut or short out cut and teams were waiting for that. They should have had him faking the in cut/out cut and going vertical. Also, when Beasley is being doubled that will leave other guys one on one. Regarding replacing Beasley with Switzer. I’m not quite sold on Switzer yet, but if he does have the same explosive quickness as Beasley we should have them both on the field at the same time. Blame our coaching staff for not using Beasley effectively, not Beasley. NE would turn Beasley into a quicker version of Amendola.

I like Hurns but you already know he won’t be worth what he’s going to get from Jerry and co!! Seems like fools gold and the type of move you come to expect from this front office. Even worse is WR seems to be the top priority? Why not go after Graham. Then find a receiver in the draft. That would’ve been better and more Dak friendly than this! No money for anything else but willing to throw money at WR??

10 mil but the team was willing to give watkins 16. How much you think Hurns is going to get with the type of money WRs are making? JG got 11 million guaranteed and you could bet Hurns is likely to exceed that. Plus the Jags found cheaper options in the draft which is exactly what the Cowboys should be doing!
