best WR in the class. That would be my guess and pretty much all draft "experts" and ratings have him as a 1st round talent.

why not...success rate is 60+%Defense Defense Defense.......but knowing our FO they will pick a OFF-lineman once again!![]()
I believe that the pick will be an OL. That's probably where the value will be and we also need it.
bull.
+1000. I am not a big fan of Ridley or moore in the first round. I rather trade down even if we get less than expected, and pick up Vander Esch or Evans towards the bottom of first round. get an extra 3rd or 4th. and shoot for Sutton, Chark in the 2nd and a DT in the 3rd.I think Garrett really believes that the offense centered around Zeke can do the job. The defense needs to improve. We will either go LB or DL with the first pick unless the safety falls which is highly unlikely. I just think all this talk about WR is a smoke screen.
Calvin Ridley is 1st Rd worthy. There isn't a first-round talent in this draft. Ridley is just the most polished of a really good group of 2nd and 3rd round guys, and he's only 6 foot without blazing speed.
Not to mention, the receivers in recent drafts have mostly been busts. The league is growing leery of them.
Nowadays, passing games are about scheming to create space more than one-on-one matchups. The college game is creeping into the pros.
You don't need elite receivers to do that. Just look at New England and Philly.
Calvin Ridley is 1st Rd worthy.
bull.Well, he's said to be sliding like a greased up pig right now.
He'll go first round.bull.
most draft observers have him as the highest rated WR and 1st one off the board.
he's been runnin routes against 1st Rd Corners for 3yrs at bama....its why he is so polished...one of them is minkah fitzpatrick who will likly go top 10.He'll go first round.
I just don't like 6-foot guys who have never run routes against big NFL defensive backs.
The past three years......busts. Amari Cooper is the best of the bunch, and he's struggling, too.

Calvin Ridley ain't chump change.Remember Dre Kirkpatrick? Kareem Jackson? Mark Barron?
Don't overrated Alabama defensive backs. Even Clinton-Dix hasn't been that great. Landon Collins has been.
Calvin Ridley ain't chump change.
1st Rd talent...day1 starter.
if he is the pick...you will come to love him and be glad we got him.
we'll see.Receivers take years to develop.
Where's Laquon Treadwell? What about Josh Doctson, Corey Coleman, Will Fuller, Corey Davis, John Ross, Mike Williams, Kevin White, Breshad Perriman, Kelvin Benjamin, Cordarelle Patterson, Justin Blackmon, Kendall Wright, Michael Floyd, AJ Jenkins, Percy Harvin, Hakeem Nicks.......?
Those were all 1st round receivers.
Receivers have a high bust rate. Ridley may be good, but it will probably be years until he is.
