JJ's gig is not in question - but I question his sanity since the ATL thing.
that said, JG's the best mind in the Boys brain trust and they know it. I'll lay money Garrett lobbied all off season for the influx of O talent and got the nod purely for one simple reason - if the OL can protect Dak ... he works progressions very well. I can see Dak hit 30+ TDs, 10 INTs, and 5/+ TDs rushing and far less hits/sacks.
Last year's issues resulted in 1 really hard fact - Dak's avg sack time was 2.1 seconds, ouch
Williams, Fleming, and Martin are pretty good.
When Dak has time to scan the field he will make plays.
they moved on from aged and slow O players in Morris, Dez, Witten.
Hurns, Gallup, Thompson, Austin, and Rico are new targets with good hands and RAC potential.
*note, Gallup, Thompson, and Austin have blazing play speed
That speed buys Beasley, Rod, Zeke, and mostly Dak room to work.
I just don't see the wheels coming off, 30 attempts for 225/+ per game as very possible, doesn't sound like a lot but in this O it's devastating with the run game producing another 125 regularly. This will probably work.
Until the O gels they finally have Rod'd unit well stocked. LVE is a massive talent upgrade. Adds as much to the D as Zeke did the O. Don't under estimate this D or team
this is a talented young team, Garrett is very well positioned
