Quick refresher for those of you who may be interested in his contract status:

He has been paid for 2 seasons but only accrued 1 season towards free agency. Since he was suspended all last year and never received a game check, his contract tolled, pushing it back a year. This means he will earn this year what his should have last year and next year what he should have made this year. This year,he will earn a base salary of $781,813 with a cap hit pf $1.04M. Next year, he will earn a salary of $955,21 with an equal cap hit.

After next season, he will have played out his 4 year contract but have only accrued 3 seasons towards FA. Teams have a right to a draft pick for 4 years, meaning Gregory will be a RFA following the 2019 season like Irving was this offseason.
