Frederick not going on IR

I don't like this. For the long-term benefit of the team, I think Frederick should take a couple of months off to get his body healed and back in shape before taking the field. Putting him on I/R makes more sense to me.
But what if his body is right soon?

That the Cowboys won’t win anything meaningful as long as Jerry is alive. Zeke will get over 1500 yards. Sean Lee will get hurt. Roger Goodell will never be a good commissioner. None of us are getting out of this world alive. Fans will always complain about JG even if he won 2 SB’s in a row. Tony Romo will be cannonized. The NFCE will come down to us and the Iggles. Rico Gathers and David Irving will always be idiots.

I have plenty more, would like me to keep going?
Please do!
I'm going to... I'm gonna take a quick walk. Looking forward to it!

I don't like this post.

For the long term benefit of this board, posters should avoid Web MD generated diagnoses and understand that actual medical professions are advising the team.

Just because he's not on ir doesn't necessarily mean he'll play sooner than 8 weeks. It just opens the possibility should he receive medical clearance.

True. But if that means even 1 extra game, it is worth more than the bottom of the roster player that got bumped

Not surprised, hopefully he’s fully ready when he comes back. I have zero faith in our team doctors/Jerry making medical decisions on whats best for the players.

Yes. I'm sure our team doctors are the ones advising on a rare blood disorder. That makes sense

No argument here. That's why the decision was made. Surely it was discussed with medical personnel prior to the move to leave him off ir.

Santa Claus isn’t real. The Giants will have 6 or less wins and won’t be a threat in the NFC for several more years. NE will win their division. Bellichick is a cheater. Jerry Jones is a slime ball. Ford is better than Chevrolet. Dlaw will have at least 3-4 sacks in his first two games. The sun will rise in the east and set in the west. Phillip Rivers will never win a Super Bowl. The Rams or Eagles will have on of the top 3 defenses. Rico will get suspended at some point. The Cowboys won’t get Earl Thomas this year. Jason Witten will go down as the best TE to ever play for the Cowboys (even 20 years from now). Mike Holmgren is over rated. College football is better than NFL. The NFL will continue to ruin and dilute the game with rules and bad officiating. There will be a lockout during the next CBA. The Cowboys will always be favored with a Thanksgiving Day game. Starting to have faith in Stephen being as bad as Jerry (used to not think that).

Would you like me to address specific subjects other than football? We can start a new thread in a separate forum or I can PM you which could be really interetsing and could make you think I should be committed, maybe I should?

PS. I hope you enjoyed your walk! Missing a good game at Jerry World though.

I’m sure they have some say after he gets cleared with other doctors who know nothing about what it takes to play in the NFL.

How did Dez do after he was cleared to come back? What about Romo? How did it work out for him when he was cleared to comeback against Carolina because the Cowboys still had an outside chance to win the division? As a reminder, he was reinjured and that was pretty much the last meaningful game he ever played in. How many times was Sean Lee cleared to comeback and reinjured himself. They probably did the same with Bailey last season and as a result he’s currently unemployed.

Now that is some wisdom.

Has to mean he’ll be back within 8 weeks

It could also mean they are really going all in with their new found frugality and simply don’t want to have to sign another player that will just be inactive every week anyway. Maybe they just found a new way to save money.
