Patriots need a WR, they go get Josh Gordon.

Cowboys need a WR, they go get Brice Butler.

I can’t think of any better example to sum up why these two franchises are in the state they’re each currently in.

it is not like we have a great qb who can actually get him the ball if he is open. who would you play with Prescott or brady. that is a hard choice.:(

As Stephen Jones always says, they are constantly looking for ways to improve the football team.

So we have that going for us, which is nice.

Imagine Gordon and Gregory flying up to Seattle... o_O

I guess the Patriots didn't get the memo that you don't pick up a guy the Browns don't want.

That's the good thing about this. With the Patriots being the team that did it they can't use the excuse it isn't what good football teams do.

They are thisclose to admitting our front office just sucks. I can feel it.

Finicky fans crying about missing out on Gordon, but at the same time whining about Gregory and Irving.

The Patriots are smart for signing problematic players. Cowboys are dumb for signing same caliber players.

So wait.

We called and figured a 5th round pick (and some insurance in case he can’t get active) was too rich for our blood?

LOL. This front office.

Not quite. The people who complain about Gregory and Irving are the ones saying we don’t want Gordon.

It’s largely the same subset of fans.

What if we couldn't complete the deal for Gordon because the Browns insisted on picks we're going to use on the Earl Thomas trade?

And of course the Patriots can get it done because they're not getting Earl Thomas.

Somebody start a thread about this. It's got legs.

What a joke. The class of the NFL says yep he improves the team let’s get it done. Hey for the glass half fullers at least the boys got named dropped, hey B.B. what you bringing to the team...ughh you know SJ..the same fly route that’s been successful once or twice ....I think.

Not even close. Gordon is an all pro talent that led the league in receiving yards despite playing 14 games that year. Gregory has what 1 sack. And david irving while good has all his sacks in bunches and has not received a pro bowl nod.

The Patriots just got a problematic player who has All-Pro caliber talent.

Our problematic players are JAGs until proven otherwise.

Dallas lacks the structural leadership to make it work. New England is a fort, they seldom have any distractions and when they do they know how to manage them. Look at the Aaron Hernandez situation, they put that fire out in a matter of seconds.

But hey, we’ll give up a conditional 6th rounder for Bené Benwikere. But a 5th rounder for an all pro talent?

Nah.

LOL.
