On his FS1 Undisputed show with Shannon Sharpe, those exact words came out of Skip Bayless' mouth. Here is the entire podcast from yesterday. The Zeke segment starts at 12:32. Skip made his comparison of both players around the 18:00 mark. Here it is:

Emmitt is one of the most disrespected players in history.

He was an absolute WARRIOR. I don't give a crap what anyone says, he was the Michael Jordan of football in the early 90's. There is nothing he didn't do well. Nothing.
His heart was outrageous. Go back and watch him steamroll players like Andre Waters on his way to the HOF. His vision was superior and his elusiveness absurd. He ran so low noone could get a target on him.

Zeke is terrific and a phenom in his own right. His combo of power/speed is almost unmatched in NFL history. But he's a bit of a bonehead as we know, and I fear his playing style will end his career early. I would never ask him to change. He is a hammer, and noone wants anything to do with tackling him. It's silly to say, but that big head of his is a factor over 4 qtrs. Imagine getting crashed into by a moped 6 to 7 times a game from a dead stop. The first two might be funny and no big deal. But the rest will bruise my friend.

Sorry, nope! Nobody was or is a better RB than Emmitt. Many are/were bigger, faster, stronger, or whatever but even though they had those advantages, they couldn’t and didn’t do what Emmitt did. End of story. Come talk to me when Zeke has a Super Bowl MVP on the shelf and is closing in on Emmitt’s all time rushing record. Then and only them will this topic be relevant. Being bigger, stronger, faster, or any other physical attribute you want to name, doesn’t make anyone a better RB.

He's definitely got more speed and he is bigger and stronger. But that's about it. Emmitt made guys miss and preserved his body by NOT letting guys get as many direct hits on him. Zeke searches out the contact instead of getting the bigger gains. Which leads us to the next characteristic. Emmitt had a much better football mind and had a bigger heart. Zeke appears immature and rocks in a box. And he gave up in Denver which Emmitt NEVER did. I would take Emmitt 10 out of 10 times.

I need to lead the Cowboys to the Super Bowl and win, AND put up stats like Walter Payton and Tony Dorsett before I am considered great". Zeke has the talent to be better than Emmitt. If he had Emmitt's work ethic and health, he might have a chance. Right now, I'm not seeing it.

Emmitt is the best post season running back Ive ever seen....all he did was move the chains, you needed 6 he got 7. Very good football mind and he was very hard to bring down. Rarely made the big mistake and could block and catch.

Zeke still early in his career, I just hope Jerry doesn't waste his career and he is able show his talents in the post season.
