Reality check for some

I was listening to the pre game show on the Ticket and they had their film geeks on there talking about the Houston game. They said the OL graded out very well in pass protection for that game and that it was the run blocking where they graded low. And we’ve seen other games where the protection was fine and Dak struggled. He usually gets B+ protection, and today it was A+. But he’s gotta figure out how to make B+ work because in the NFL you aren’t going to get A+ very often. Besides, his passing performance was nothing spectacular today. It was very solid for sure so I don’t want it to sound like it wasn’t good. He made some good throws, and he made some not so good ones including missing a sure fire TD pass by a big margin. Where Dak was great today was with his legs.

The pass protection was much better in the Jags game than in the Texans game.

Dak intentionally running might have been part of the reason the pass pro was better, but it was much better.

You can go by stats and definitely not by PFF grades.

Watch all offensive plays on the All-22 from one game then watch the other game.

In general Dak is very good when the pressure is less than 40%.

this is what Dak excels at...

This is what can make us a very good and dangerous team...

We will not be an air raid passing prolific team!

We just need a cole Beasley to stay open, a cheap reliable Gallup type

And then run, bootleg, QB runs, screens , and dominate and control the game
Commanders will figured out how to shut all of this down by tomorrow morning. Do we have the coaching talent to change it up for next week's big game? That's what I'm going to be looking for.

Eventually, we will need a high quality starting WR with size and hands. We will also need a top end receiving TE for the QB. This team handles adversity and bad press and gives a great effort, but no....regardless of today’s score, this team will need additional and much better talent on offense.
The problem is that they can't handle prosperity, it's why they're 3-3.

Please note that our “screen plays” are horrible. First the pass is never at a point that the receiver can snatch the ball and turn up field quickly. Then the blocking by our receivers on screens has been, well very bad.

We really need to get Zeke more involved in the passing game. Whether it be screens or even dump offs. I feel if we get him more involved our offense will be more deadly.

you must suffer from anti social psychosis... there is meds for that.

i've seen you attacking EVERY POSTER that wants Garret get fired ... it might very well be about 95 % of the posters in here.

your posts lack mental balance, all of them attacking or dismissing other posters while defending jason garrett..

So this is what you stating ....we run a high school offense without a qualified air attack...if you think Beasley will be open in every game like yesterday really don't know what to tell you.
Dak did have his goofball moments yesterday gridiron luck was on his side fortunately for us but once again he proves he is a grade C QB and this will cost us big time in the following weeks....just remember my post here.
QB like Prescott come to the NFL to sit on the bench or jump from one bench to another till there short careers end.....

The question is how long can linehan stay with this and expand it. He has shown this before, only to revert to his base.
He has to make defenses cover the whole field.
I'm hoping Jason grew some peanuts and forced the change yesterday.
However I don't trust these guys, time will tell.
Show me.

It is a long ride not just one or 2 games.Adjust your expectation level and enjoy it one game a a time.

Both the team and coaches showed a lot of character. This was a defining game this season and I truly believe they could not recover from a 2-4 start.

Jason Garrett always preached a closeness when it came to the team. He wanted players that would be willing to play for each other and I think that is what we saw. However, this is one game. They have to continue to play with the same intensity while improving. The potential is there. They cannot afford a letdown.
