Question is.......hows Cincinnati's oline doing now? Didn't Dallas and Cincy flip flop oline coaches?

Scapegoat’d. Now Garrett gets another year...
No. Now even less of an excuse. They are taking away every excuse for JG/Linehan.

This is the most aggressive we’ve seen the team off the field mid season in a long time.

New #1 WR
Fixing OL now.

I think they are desperate to find out about Daks development with Linehan/JG and if these moves don’t work they’re next.

Still some firing to do. Add a WR and cutting Alexander isn't enough to turn this thing around...C'mon get to the source of the problem. So are y'all pacified by this move?

If that works great, but he had to have the ok from the OC, because they have to be in coordination with each other right along with the Rb coach too. I have a feeling it's more to it than the Oline coach.
The same OC that probably had input on the WR coach, the QB coach, and the receivers that were signed and cut...

So why not fire Sanjay Lal since apparently he wasn't getting it done with the WRs like Dooley (Not what I'm saying, I just keep hearing WRs aren't getting open)? And they needed to trade a 1st round pick to "fix" Dak under Lal.

And if we needed a #1 WR last year and didn't have it (from what I'm told by mostly everyone) why did Derek Dooley get fired instead of helping him?

So now we fire the OL coach because we have undersized Connor Williams and overrated Collins playing? Why not help the coach by trading a 2nd round pick for someone? Pollack had a great line in 2016 and we fire him after 2017 and are quick to fire Alexander in 2018 because he doesn't have studs at all 5 positions? Seems like Dak got two OL coaches fired since when I believe he holds the ball too long and can't read a field so it makes everyone around look worse.

We have fired the WR, two OL, and the QB coach and have gotten rid of a few players for Dak, who's next?. Somehow the organization keeps overlooking HC and OC. I'm not understanding our process of firing someone vs keeping them, when they all supposedly need more help.
You don't understand because you don't know. You simply don't get it... or refuse to get it. Your hatred for Dak is blinding you. Badly.

Much to learn you have.

Glad he's gone our OL has gone from one of the best in the league to bellow average. Some of that us Fredricks being out, but there should still be enough talent on that line to at least be average and we're not

Every coach doesn’t fit every every coaching situation. I don’t blame the guy. He just didn’t fit.

Exactly. Colombo has been an assistant here for four years. I assume he'll go back to the techniques used before the Alexander experiment.

I like the move.

Been screaming about this for a while....our line play has been very very poor this year. EVERYONE looks worse and it's not just a Frederick thing either.

Smart move by Garrett. He was a poor hiring.

I kind of wish they'd crap can Moore too but at this point, I don't think you can find a QB coach in a pinch that could actually help Dak mid-season.

That's a problem they probably have to live with for the entire season.

Dak’s problems are not related to KMoore.

And yet Zeke has a 4.96 ypc. The OL has not been that bad.

I wonder where the firing comes from. I don’t see Jason G doing this. Has to be Stephen or Jerry. Maybe even Will.

Let's make sure we have our facts straight. Callahan was brought in to call plays and had it taken away from him because it wasn't working. He coached here that last year only because he was under contract.

Yeah about those facts - the offense line improved every year under Callahan leading to DeMarco Murray having a season for the ages. The line play has been trending down since. 16 was a good year. 15, 17 and 18 have been ok to terrible. Callahan is one of the best OL coaches in the game. He famously did not get along with Garrett and that lead to his ouster. Dallas has had a cavalcade of losers coaching on the offensive side from great organizations like the Lions, Raiders, and Bengals since. It shows.

So the head coach isn't involved in the hiring and firing of his assistants?

Interesting theory.

If true, it's a further indictment of this organization.
