Because it was a deep ball and he had the matchup he wanted and Gallup had the speed.. that’s what he’s suppose to do..

You don't know where Gallop is going to be if you are throwing before he beats the coverage.

Gallop "got open" after the ball was already realeased. If anything Dak should have waited a bit longer to know where to place the ball (if he had the time)
