Why draft Elliott for your football team when you get the ball in the redzone at the 2 yard line and you can not run the ball into the endzone? Why carry all those blocking TE and a FB when you don't use them at the 2 yard line to run the ball in.

This is why Dak Prescott is so conservative and hold on to the ball. He is trying not to make mistakes on bad play calls from dumb butt coaches.
