Check this out. Zeke made Todd Gurley quit. He got tired of chasing him so he no showed the game today.

I'm not surprised. He never had the cranium to get this done.

All hail Ezekiel Elijah Elliott. The Rushing King.

Zeke 1,434
(I'm a wittle) Gurley 1,251
Barkley 1,198

Understand this, if the NFL Commissioner was a man, Zeke would have started his career with three rushing titles his first three years in the league. His numbers with those games missed and the removal of the distraction of the suspension last year would put him at or near the most productive RB in the history of the NFL 3 years into his career.

Sure, he's had a good to great line those three years but he's also played with a God awful QB and no passing game. You play Dallas, you sell out to stop Zeke. He carries the load every week starting week 1 of his rookie year. There is no burden lifted off of him ever.

Special player. He's easily one of the greatest players to ever wear that uniform.

It’s actually pretty sad that the MVP voting is so slanted towards QB’s.

Because Zeke deserves an MVP award as much as anyone.

This was well into the season and is a testimony of how special he is.

This guy in situations where the Cowboys should be netting 1 yard, he turns into 3. With the load he’s carrying against stacked boxes, it’s pretty obvious why he doesn’t have more break out runs. If he had an actual QB, it would be crazy.

Zeke is only so good because defenses are so afraid of Dak and his arm. Put Dak on the Giants with Barkley and Barkley will get 5,000 yards rushing.
But seriously, IF Dallas had a passing game that teams actually respected then Zeke would be challenging 2k yards rushing every year. Its not a stretch at all to say that he is the more talented back over Murray when Murray had that prime year with 1800+ yards on almost 400 carries. I wonder how Murray does if Dak is on that team?

The biggest what if, is Romo getting a chance to play with Zeke the year he should have gotten his job back. Wasted opportunity and possibly dumbest football decision in history.

I wouldn't say it's slanted. The passing game accounts for the lion's share of every team's offense. Why wouldn't QBs get prime consideration? Defenders don't have any chance of winning MVP. When was the last time that happened?

Again, no mention that he leads the league in fumbles, averages less ypc than Gurley or Barkley, averages ~5 more carries per game than Barkley which means Barkley would be beating Zeke by over 100 yards if he got as many carries and he also runs behind a much worse O line.

But yeah, Zeke has more yards so that means he’s the best...unless he didn’t have the most yards, ran behind an O line as bad as the Giants and didnt have as many carries then he would still be the best but it would be the O lines fault and the coaches fault for not giving him the ball enough

The passing game doesn’t account for the lions share of every teams offense though. From a pure yardage standpoint? Sure but not to the actual impact on the game.

I mean with our offense the running game is the most important aspect for sure.

I would love to see a defender win MVP. A guy like Khalil Mack is deserving of consideration this year. Absolutely.

I know he'll want to play, but I hope they keep his carries down next week.

Gurley isn't going to catch him and we won't have a bye, so save him some pounding before the playoffs.

Pretty unspectacular 1,400 yards. Honestly, I can’t really think of many games this season where he wowed me.
