Doubt he will clear waivers. Teams with worse records are given priority

He is not a waivers guy is he?

I believe he is since he was released as opposed to his contract expiring.

Same thing with Ruben Foster and Hunt. They were released and teams had the option to claim him off of waivers.

Generally speaking players cut with four or more years of NFL experience immediately become free agents and are free to sign with any NFL team. However, during the season, beginning immediately after the NFL trade deadline passes and continuing through the end of the regular season, vested veterans (players with four or more years of NFL service) are also subject to the waiver process.

Dude is awful. He's a LB in a safeties body. Gambles too much and gives up a ton of big plays. People see his highlight hits but don't see the other 3/4 of the game where he's trash. Xavier is better and Heath is as good. No thanks.
