Linehan’s stupidity continues to show: Elliott hasn’t scored a rushing touchdown in 4 games

They should've fired Linnehan when they had the chance, at the same time they let go of Alexander. The offense might've really turned around even more with some new ideas. Get these failure Detroit Lions coaches and ex players outta here!

Thanks...i was the king of the waiver wire after I lost hunt... picked up Samuels, justin jackson, Damien Williams and Elijah McGuire....litteraly rode them to a championship...my league was pissed
I won my last 4 to sneak in as the last seed. Second isn't too bad in this case. I'd be happy if the Cowboys could sneak into the SB!

With our redzone issues, you would assume we would try and give it to our best player. Instead, we continue to pass on the 5 yard line or try and do these ridiculous trick plays that aren’t fooling anyone
OMG....did you watch the lat wo games. they gave him the ball. they got stopped every time....teams are expecting it. they key on it. they are daring dak to pass it, because they rather see us pass it, than run it.... watch the game, follow up on the play by play that's available everywhere before you post something dumb

..the OL is still 2nd tier, Zeke cant make those holes himself. SL has to get creative getting that ball in there. Austin should help.

I don’t know that Zeke actually personally recording the touchdown matters to anyone outside of fantasy players. Also don’t forget that Dak vultures away a half dozen touchdowns every year that someone like say Gurley doesn’t have to worry about.

That's awesome, great run and I'm sure you got at least a little cash right?

And yes I'd love to see a sb in our best future

You didn't like handing it off to Cooper instead of feeding our Pro Bowl runningback?
That looked like it would've worked if someone hadn't assumed the guy across from him was going to follow him, and had blocked him, rather than let him have a free run at Cooper.

Zeke had no problems in 2016. Both Dak and linehan were here then. Why do you think they had so much success then and not now?

I swear some days I feel like a shrink on this site. Trying to get people to figure out the obvious.

Linehan has to be on a career count down now. When he ran a reverse to Cooper inside the 5 on Sunday, I reached the end with him. His play calling coupled with the scheme he and Garrett devised are holding the team back.

I got enough to pay for all my playoff and bowl numbers. It's all good.

The Oline is the major crux of the problems but Linnehan pretends there is nothing wrong with it in his play-calling. He doesn't do things to compensate for the weaknesses. That's an issue to me. It's obvious the line isn't the same but you cannot do things like you have the same line in 2016 when you don't. The obvious is Linnehan not doing much to adjust to the real issue.

I disagree that Linehan knows what is needed. He's kinda gone out of his way to prove that he doesn't.
The guy is a veteran playcaller.

He has had injured players in and out of the lineup on the OL all year.

Not his fault Alexander didn't have a clue.

He did not hire that guy but had to accept what he was doing until the FO woke up.

He also did not tell the front office how to handle Dez.

Nor did he know Witten was leaving.

Yet everybody wants to hold him responsible for the results.

Insane.

Linehan has issues but I have a feeling he will design some good game plans coming up.

But DAK must not take sacks and needs to run when needed.

Not stop and try for a big play downfield.

Do this and Linehan smells much better.

That would be ignoring prior history. Linehan is notorious for going passpasspass.

Rod can’t walk and linehan can’t talk time for them both to go

Believe me. In order to see how much the line has fallen you don't need to be a know it all or a genius. This is basic obvious stuff. I am continued to be baffled at how many people don't get it.

Football is a very simple game to understand. Although I fully admit that when I was young I also thought the RB and the QB did it on their own.
