I'm not ready to "anoint" him at all, but I think it's comical that many want to throw out a third year starter who's taken us to the playoffs in two out of three years and dismiss almost every stat he puts up.

Really not liking what I'm seeing from the defense today. No discipline in their lanes. No looking back for the ball. Not enough pressure on Eli. I hate the play calling. We've been successful blitzing so we've barely blitzed. This isn't how I'd like to see us calling plays going into a showdown with a very hot offense.

I expect to see tons of bend don't break and shallow zones next week where Wilson picks us apart.
