Ace Frehley was my favorite member of KISS. I was him several times on Halloween.
I wish I had a Starburst Gibson Les Paul for every broom I used as one

My fav was Gene but when it came to Halloween, Ace was my costume. We used poolsticks as the guitars :D

My favorite was Peter Chris because he played the drums and sang Beth :D

My favorite song by the band though was always Detroit Rock City .. especially the part around 3:07 in the following video ..

Am I the only one who used mom's makeup to paint my face and rock-n-roll on our parents pool table? :lmao:

A quick, 'small world' story. My next door neighbor growing up somehow became the Nanny for Paul Stanley's family and kids. She split time living with them between LA and Japan. She got us tickets and passes and stuff to meet Paul backstage. He was a really nice, accommodating guy, but the other guys couldn't be bothered. Walked off the stage in full costume with the big boots and all and jumped straight into a limo.

Met Sebastian Bach from the band Skid Row that night too. A down to earth guy who showed me the "Rocker handshake".

And, here I am thinking... geesh, I'm getting old if it has been 45 years since this album was released. Meanwhile, you're thinking about smoking hot women dressed in KISS make-up.

I am really losing my grip... got to get my head back in the game.

I was never a big fan and don't really know why. If I'd been younger when they showed up, maybe, but there music never hit a note with me. Same with Motley, and both bands were hugely successful. Maybe if I had attended one of their live shows and had some experience with them because that's what made me a fan of the originator of that, Alice Cooper.

You know you were a huge KISS fan if you watched this awful movie and loved it
I had it marked on my calendar a week before it aired.

Thanks for the memories{or not} I had Mom get me a friend a pizza while we watched the movie when it 1st aired. Loved the band but my Lord the movie was bad.
