The Giants draft Collins, and he paid off; the Cowboys can do the same.
I am glad Thomas is with someone else. That injury will prove to be more than expected. The Ravens are hoping for "Legion", but they got "Lego" Thomas.

Why? We need a SS. That why I didn't get the fascination with Thomas.

You want to replace Heath, right? He's your SS.

Draft Jonathan Abram at SS and let Woods continue at FS. He was good.

Boston can play SS. In fact, last year, our brilliant co-GM Stephen Jones claimed that Tre Boston was a SS and not a fit for us.

Unreal. We can't even sign a guy who wants to come here. 8-8 to 10-6 forever.

Whats pathetic is they were willing to give up a pick just so they could sign him on their terms and since they couldn't they just passed on him all together.

They can get him for free but pass but are willing to trade for him. My gosh.

I wanted Earl on this team more than anyone but that contract is too rich.

Good luck to Thomas. He may not have won in Dallas but he sure ain’t winning in Baltimore.

Stephen Jones sees $22M in first 9 months and feels completely vindicated.

He can pay Jeff Heath $2M and Xavier Woods $645k next year and the Cowboys will still sell the same amount of tickets and draw the exact same TV ratings.

Plus, they will simply draft a guy in the 5th round (that 32 teams passed on 4 times, including the Cowboys) and he will be the steal of the draft. The NFL will never see it coming.

This all assuming Stephen is even awake yet this morning from the Yacht party in the Bahamas to see that Earl signed with the Ravens.

Given how they have lowballed Beasley, you are on the wrong track thinking our price range is anything close to reasonable.

I don't think anyone but the useless, untalented or desperate come down into our neighborhood.

They aren't even taking care of their own.

They've clearly lowballed Lawrence, too.

It's becoming frighteningly clear that Dallas doesn't like to spend money. We are one of the lowest teams in actual cash spent the past half decade.

Yeah but a year shouldn’t have been that much of a deal breaker. So if they traded a second rounder for him last year and he got hurt....then what? They were going to let him walk?
One year is a lot when you’re talking about His pro bowl skills lasting only another two to three years.

They probably had an extension worked out for him last year if they really did try to trade for him. Likely less than he got on the open market.

Jerry Jones’ reaction to the Ravens signing ET...

“Five-billion and one, five-billion and two, five-billion and...who?...WHAT??!?...doggone it Stephen, you made me lose count...now where was I?...oh, yeah...five-billion and three, five-billion and four...”

Before everybody says the Ravens overpaid it is very likely Cowboys would have gotten him cheaper if they acted on the first day. Difference making players cost money.

How did you come to that conclusion? He has said over and over 15 million a year.
