If it was up to you. what would the first real game offensive play be?

Flea flicker...with a stop and go up the left sideline to Gallup.

I think we play the Giants first. Last I read, Sam Beal is currently slated to be their LC. He was out last year (his first) with a shoulder injury. I don't think he's actually played in a regular season game. Gallup is a fine route runner and I think he could get Beal to bite on it.

I'm truly hoping to see some variation to our play calls. What would you call for our first play if it was up to you? What do you think we'll do?

Hit them with the Austin 64 yard TD, play action. You know they are going to try and stop Zeke on first down, in fact I think they sell out to stop him on first play.

I lean toward some kind of multiple touches play like flea flicker as OP suggested, hook @ ladder, receiver\rb pass downfield or throwback to QB. Something that lets the defense know they can't expect pure conservatism.

I remember the old San Francisco 49ers Bill Walsh, he was script the first 15-20 plays play my first play from scrimmage would be a bomb to Gallup.
