I think 2 games is the worst case/starting point. Play nice and accept 1 game.

Goodell probably looked Zeke in the eye and made it clear that if there is a similar incident in the future he will be.

Wonder what these same fans think about ex-Giant OBJ not being punished after a picture of him in a room full of drugs appeared on social media? Or when Reuben Foster got off (basically) scott-free? The fact Foster suffered a season ending injury at OTA's make me believe in karma.

This is why I think perhaps he won’t get suspended. At the time Elliot got hosed for 6 games. They were being tough on DV after the rice thing. They seemed to have eased up since.

This is my exact thought. I think this whole thing is getting so blown out of proportion. Furthermore, it would be absolutely ridiculous if he got suspended for this IMO. Hopefully fuhrer Goodell will be understanding.

I was thinking the same thing. Even though he has been suspended before goodell has been awfully light on other players for doing worse as of late. I sometime think he singled Elliot out during a time they needed to be tough on DV after the rice problem. And he happens to be A Cowboy and JJ said some things when he should have stayed out of it, so that likely made it worse.

You even mentioned it earlier today I think. We won’t know for a while after the meeting. Guessing that goodell is going to take there talk into consideration as he makes his decision.
