"Dak Prescott is the first Cowboys quarterback to ever pass for 3,000 yards and at least 20 touchdowns in each of his first three seasons."

Mickey's latest article. Take note to some interesting stats at the end.

I will say that Cowboys fans are lucky to have pretty good people covering their team. Whether that be the team site or the fan. However, I cannot stand Mickey. Anytime someone criticizes the team all I heard is his little annoying voice yelling "Well, what would YOU do?!" Always turn 105.3 or pregame/postgame show off when he is on. Mike Fisher is good but when Dallas isn't doing well he is tough to listen to.

Cowboy fans don't appreciate the sheer continued greatness of Tyron Smith.

Which is all you need to know about Cowboy fans.
The 2018 Tyron Smith hate was the most insane thing i've ever seen

Despite playing next to a back-up center and an undersized rookie guard (along with having a what would be fired o-line coach who changed his stance) he STILL finished #1 in the league in least amount of QB pressure per attempt, allowed zero sacks, finished top 5 against the run, made pro bowl and NFL top 100......... (that's 100% FREAK ATHLETE right there ).

Fans where actually saying "oh his performance is dropping panic time" (yeah his performance is dropping even though he played BETTER in 2018 then he did in 2017.......).

The Tyron 2018 hate/negativity is living proof that you can be a so called "hardcore fan" and literally know nothing about football

I've been saying this since the rumors came out. His current deal with 5th year tag (which is protected by injury and fully guaranteed day 1 of the NFL calendar year) is almost 35 million fully guaranteed which is #1 for his position........

His total guaranteed and fully guaranteed are top level for his position even with the deal being 3 years old. That is a VERY GOOD contract.

I've actually heard fans and media compare to this Le'Veon Bell

Zeke's signing bonus he received before ever having a real NFL practice was LITERALLY higher than Bells first 6 years of NFL salary combined......

I read the article (for me it takes a lot to read a Spags article- can’t stand his brand of “journalism” since “never is heard a discouraging word” about anything Cowboys or Jones related) He makes some good points though especially at the end about Dak, completion %, 3rd down conversions, etc.

None of us know how the Zeke situation will play out. If we’re going to keep him more than 5 years, I’m for tagging him because he will probably want a longer term deal than something like 3 years which I would be very hesitant to give to a RB in today’s NFL. Even Zeke. I’m still trying to remember in the last 10 years, a Super Bowl Winning team built with a very expensive RB.

He doesn't work for a media outlet. He works for the Dallas Cowboys. So why does anyone expect him to criticize them?

Publicly trashing your boss is usually not good for one's career.

I understand that. What I’m saying is I usually see this type of journalism as more sales propaganda than objective.

Nobody is asking him to "trash his boss". Broaddus, Helman, Rob Phillips and Eatman can do their jobs effectively without having to be obnoxious, kool-aid drinking, sycophant homers they way that Spangola has to. That's the big difference.

I like this Mickey! Dem just facts with the numbers. Front office only has $13 million in cap space..after all the contacts.

Ryan Leaf is a Great story. I am a sucker for 2nd Chance stories. I saw the ESPN special I think twas...His Character has finally lived up to the Draft value. Hopefully Ryan and Chargers are square. He could be a great team ambassador. Leaf, Leftwich and greatJeff George best cannon arms I've ever seen..pig laces whistled.

I'd extend Zeke yearly and franchise. His off Field IQ is lacking. The case was predictable. The security guard will get paid.
Zeke can't hold out. He's great but doesn't have z Leveon Bells creditability.
As Mickey mentioned Zeke can't miss accrued years. Also Zeke doesn't need reps in camp. We know history, it will take Elliot 4_6 games to get into Zeke shape. There are high profile people in public all the time but they understand the general public. Zeke is showing a lack of understanding off Field.
