News: Cowboys work out prospective TEs

Per Todd Archer at ESPN:
With Blake Jarwin, Dalton Schultz, Codey McElroy and Marcus Lucas battling injuries and Jason Witten not playing in Thursday's preseason finale against Tampa Bay, the Cowboys worked out tight ends Tyrone Swoopes and Zach Conque. Swoopes played quarterback at Texas and has been on and off Seattle's practice squad the last two years. Conque, who played quarterback at Stephen F. Austin, was most recently with the Colts.

He played there after I left. One of the few NFL success stories for the Lumberjacks! He and Mark Moseley.
TE Todd Fowler played for the Cowboys.

Larry Centers was a player I always wanted to play for the Cowboys.

Played at Texas A&M from '65-'66 and then transferred to SFA - played QB at both schools and then switched to place kicker.
One of the few special teams players to get NFL MVP; he and Lou Groza. Last of the straight on toe-kickers.

Larry Centers was a player I always wanted to play for the Cowboys.

That would have been nice. He set school records. A real player's player.
I went to SFASU from '74-'80.

That's a very interestingly insightful twist,& more than a bit
Intriguing ,once one broadly encompasses the sweeping attack plans Kellen the Hammer Moore has stowed in his bag of "boom-boom" double droppin' the hammer on these upcoming Mo-Fo's Attack plans , it seems there's a solid working relationship tween #7& the #84,,,that Markus Lucas( name kinda' got that revolutionary race car engine ring to it,ya know?) put in a damn fine viewable showing, he was either #80 or #81 I can't recall ,being as how most of these cats won't be seen on my T.V. in another month.
