Clowney to Seattle

How stupid are both the Houston and Washington franchises ? You had a deal begging to be made between those 2 teams with Clowney and Trent Williams and they decide to ship off one of their best players for a couple of so-so linebackers ?

How does Bill O'Brien have player personnel say-so ? It's mind-boggling..........................

How are the Seahawks going downhill? They went from missing the playoffs in 2017 to people thinking 2018 was a bit of a retool/rebuild year, while making it to the playoffs. Their O-Line is far better than it was a couple years ago and they now just added one of the better run defenders in the league to their defense

The price will be a huge contract for a guy that has never had double digit sacks in his life. He’s not worth it.

Seattle is dumb for letting frank clark go because of his contract demands and then signing clowney to a huge deal.

Clark is better.

Houston has been desperate to move him for awhile now, probably would have taken a cheese of the month package at some point :laugh:

Lol uhhh. He got traded for not playing under the tag, and even under the tag it’s the same point. Beyond that though at some point you’re paying him on top of the trade comp
 
I think that Clowney would be a great addition to Seattle, they need more hype.

Who sits out under the tag vs who ends up playing under it?

You don’t have to pay him and I feel he sits he loses a truck full of cash.

He was a perfect 1 year rental.

Who is Wilson going to throw the ball to ? Himself ? If brittle Tyler Lockett misses any playing time , they're gonna' start using the wishbone offense...........................
