Dallas at Washington in 1999. Dallas wins in OT 41-35 after trailing big at the beginning of the 4th quarter
Airman threw 5 TD’s and 3 int’s. Gailey was the coach. That year Gailey said Irvin should play less. I believe the next game Irvin’s career ends in Philly.
The TD to Ismail in OT was a beauty

I think you might be thinking of the one when we trailed 24-3 or whatever in D.C and we came back to win 31-30 ish??
I’d have included that on my list... but I didn’t get to see it at the time.
That was 81 I think. Dorsett on the top fold of Washington Post. The day I became a Cowboy fan I was 5.

Dallas Washington 1992, the passing of the torch, we saw how much difference a Charles Haley would make.
This game and the 91 game when Emmit got cramps and didn’t play after halftime. I knew that something special was happening.

1999 against Washington was arguably tGOAT NFL opening weekend game. A 21 point comeback then Aikman to Rocket 75 yards for the walk off win.
I think Marino Bledsoe duel in 94 was opening day.... I think.

1992 vs Washington on MNF.
Vinson Smith got a LB sack.
Isaac Holt blocks punt out of end zone.
Dallas drives down for a TD.
It's 9-0 Dallas and on their way to the greatest season in their history.

Green and Bailey still can't catch the Rocket!

Wasn't 2015 technically the most exciting... didn't they score a TD with less than 10 seconds left or something?

Like others, I also have fond memories of Aikman to Ismail... though in retrospect I have no idea why. That team stunk. Maybe it was because Troy finally threw a perfect bomb...

Dallas missed the playoffs in '74 (only time in a 20 year span) and had 12 rookies on the '75 roster. They surprisingly took it to the Rams in the opener in Texas Stadium, 18-7.

The "Hail Mary" came about 4 months later. A week after that the Cowboys whupped the Rams again in the NFC championship, 37-7.

Emmitt owned the Giants this game.

After the 9ers won the SB in 1994 after our 92,93 wins.

Our defense was fierce back then.

Easy. The 1992 opener. We just acquired Charles Haley and we dominated the defending champion Commanders 23-10.

Put everyone on notice. We were back.
I was at the training camp during this era at St. Ed's.. It was a trip.

Aikman even had some competition as to who'd be the starter.
