Gave some valid points on why he ranked each team where he did.

He usually does. There are times Cowherd will say things purely to be salacious and to throw something at the wall and see if it sticks. However, a lot more often he's pretty well reasoned. I don't always like what he says and he's not always right, but he typically has some validity to his points.

He's less intentionally inflammatory than Skip and Sharpe, and especially more reasonable than Stephen A.

That's one thing I've always liked about Cowherd. I may not always agree with him but he usually expounds on his position with a modicum of rational thought and logic rather than the jock shock turd sensationalism.

Lol @ how many people were bashing him last year and calling him a hack when he wasn’t as kind to us. On another note, NFL.com has us at #6, Commanders at 28, Gnats at 29, Miami at 22. Better buckle up for the next two weeks ladies and gents!

The Cowboys and Eagles may end up being the top 2 teams in the NFC by year’s end. One will have HFA throughout. The other will go the wildcard route.

Commanders are interesting. Every year, people list all these good players they have and conclude with “they’re awful.” It’s weird.

I know what ya mean and every year I think they’ll be good. Fool me once...I’m not buying it this year.

Cowherd flip flops a lot. Or seems too. Overall I really never had any issues with him. Just another talking head that will go with whatever gives him the headlines and keeps him self in the headlines.

But I guess why I Never had any issues, is because I never listen to him more than 5 minutes here and there. Not lately anyway. So can't comment on too much recent stuff.

As long as Wentz stays healthy. I predicted that the Cowboys would go 14-2 and the Eagles 12-4 and so far so good.

I’m looking forward to that inevitable week when the Cowboys leapfrog the Eagles in these polls. Might even be after this week.

I like Cowherd, I think he's one of the most objective of the big time "debate" guys or talking heads. Skip and Michale Irvin come off as Cowboys apologists/fan boys and almost everyone else is a Cowboys hater (Shannon Sharpe, Stephen A. Smith, Cris Carter, Marshall Faulk).

As a USC and Cowboys fan, Cowherd definitely grasps the brand and expectations of both organizations. When he's critical of either organization, he's always fair and I almost always agree with his criticism.

LOL...then I guess you wouldn't like Sam Ferrall on CBS Sports...I've just started listening to his radio podcast this week....I really don't like Cowherd very much...He's always been down on the boys in the past IMO...I even emailed him to tell him to STF u...lol...I bet it's hard for him to give the Boys any "shine."

He really likes the Eagles, Wentz and their GM. He talks about the problems with Jason Garrett, and Jerry yet he's been very complimentary to Cowboys on what we've done with roster. He's skeptical of Dak's accuracy loves his maturity.. he was eating some crow this week. He's a closet Cowboys fan.

I've listened to him for 20 years..he flip flops when the wind changes. He once did a whole show on why Michael Vick was better then Brett Favre
