So , you want to cherry pick? What kind of integrity is that? If anything, Cooper upgraded Dak’s play a lot. Who’s play has Dak upgraded? Name some players that Dak makes better?
I thought your IQ was surely 25 points higher than mine?

“Who’s”... swing and a miss! You meant “whose”, Boy Genius.

Who has Dak made better? The Dallas Cowboys. 33-16 as a starter.

LOL my “cherry-picking” is the most recent stretch of play with our current complement of weapons, including the #1 WR that we added for a 1st round pick.

That coward didn’t reply, so I’ll ask you the same question: how has Dak played since we added Cooper?

Let’s see how clueless you really are.

Only 3 of them started game 1 of their rookie season.
Peyton Manning: 96.5
Russell Wilson: 100.6
Dak Prescott: 97.4

Starting as a rookie tends to skew the numbers because most players are not as good as rookies as they are later.

It was a huge advantage for guys like Aaron Rodgers to get 3 years learning the NFL and the scheme and maturing before become a starter.

Almost 100% certain that Aron Rodgers as a rookie playing with the best oline inthe league and Zeke wouldve been outstanding.
Just because a guy named Favre was ahead of him doesnt mean he couldnt do it.

Having said that, Dak had a great rookie year. His best statistical year out of the 3
We’re lucky to have him

Nobody said Rodgers couldn't succeed as a rookie but it is highly unlikely that he would have been as good as he was when he became a starter in year 4.

The career averages take into account all seasons and therefore his career average passer rating is likely higher than it would have been.

The opposite is true with Dak. The fact that a rookie 4th round pick was immediately successful was quite an accomplishment.

Brady at least got 1 season before being the starter.

Romo got 2-1/3 seasons.

I was never a cut Romo guy. So you are barking up the wrong tree. As far the the Romo trolls it was no different than Dak now accept the roll out has been a little quicker with Dak.
I never said or implied you were a cut Romo guy. I only pointed out that:

That first 13-3 season for Romo. If that was year 4 so be it.

... was wrong for how it played out on this site.

I guess part of my point was that Dak's BEST stats season was when he started as a rookie. It HELPED his overall average.
But I agree, xw, that was an anomaly

His rookie year does help his career number, just as the 11-game stretch from 2017 to early 2018 hurts his career number. Although both those periods in his career tell us about his past performance, they don't really inform us about where he's headed.

But right now, he's at the point where his first 16 games don't boost his career numbers significantly more than his last 16.

First 16 games
311 of 459 67.8% 3667 yd 8.0 ypa 23 td 4 int 104.9
Last 16 games
369 of 535 69.0% 4284 yd 8.0 ypa 26 td 7 int 103.6

Of course.
But I was replying to rookies playing and how it's hurtful. That was all.

If Dak wins a ring this year we can add him to that list. If not, STATS mean nothing. This list is full of winners, Dak has not done that yet. I will give him two more years to get that done.

another STAT to fit a narrative..I like Dak he should not be on that list yet because he doesnt fit the CAREER comps yet.. a career is not made in 3 years...its not fair to have all those on the list played or is playing at least 10yrs.. they maintained that average over 3-4times that of Dak...

exception Wilson but hes been to 2 sbs and been in the league 7 years..so really we need to see that for 4more years minimum for dak and if hes still on that list, well kudos..

averages tend to DROP over time in any sport or activity..so again not fair comp at this time..

Dak is one of the best QBs in the league and will get paid as such.
hes 10-15 wants top 5 or better money..huh paid as such would be 28mil thats where he falls in actual rankings..lets stop the madness he will be VERY overpaid compared to those on that list..

Romo got 2-1/3 seasons.

You left one full year off for Romo. He sat and learned all of 2003, 2004 & 2005. He finally got to see action in 2006 against the Texans in game 5, got extensive playing time against the Giants in game 6 and became the starter in game 7 against the Panthers.

It definitely was a benefit that Romo got to sit and learn. I don't know if he needed to sit as long as he did. I think he could have been ready sooner. I think most QBs should get some time just soaking everything in before getting thrown into the fire.

I guess if you’re part of this everyone gets a trophy generation then you will think that. If you’re in the real world, like Vince Lombardi said, There’s champions, then their are losers.
