I would have pulled the trigger on the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade regardless of Xavier Woods health. Dallas would be in a decent place had they gotten the deal done with Miami. Too bad...

To me, this hurts more than Gallup. Gallup will be back probably either against the Saints or Packers. Worst case scenario the Jets. Xavier Woods was our Defensive MVP week 1. Really hate seeing this. Donovan Wilson time.

Our schedule is so soft right now though that we should definitely be able to overcome it.

It should. If it does not then we made a mistake by taking Hill when there were three good young safeties available just waiting to be taken.

This is the kind of thing that happens when you feel like you are set at a position and draft for need instead of the talent available.

Did you really want to give up a 1st round draft pick and go 2 years in a row without one? It actually would have taken more than a 1st rounder because the Steelers 1st rounder is going to be higher than the Cowboys 1st rounder, so the Cowboys would have had to sweeten the pot to outbid the Steelers.
