Eagles cannot stop anyone on D. No pressure and the d-backs can’t cover. This was my biggest question mark coming into the season. The way they’re playing this is a .500 team.

Contrary to the uninformed, Wentz played well yesterday but 7 drops including 2 that would’ve set them up for a game tying FG or TD are a killer.

Wentz has thrown a would-be game winning TD two weeks in the row only to have them both dropped.

All we have heard about is how Dak needs the perfect team around him and only wins because he has a stacked offense. And they say that so called "elite" QBs as they declare Wince to be can carry teams on their backs when things aren't going right in a game or they say that elite QBs like they declare Wince to be doesn't need the perfect team around him and can elevate any average TE/WR/RB in his offense and consistently win games.

Now, Eagles fans and Wince supporters are waking up to the reality that most QBs need a solid team around them in order to win and need top rated offensive weapons around them to be successful. And that not even their God Wince is elite enough to overcome an imperfect team around him, who doesn't execute or make the plays that they are supposed to make.

Making excuses for WInce while they expect Dak to overcome having key players out or they will claim that Dak needs to "be carried" by the "perfect team" around him.

At the Cowboys game some of the biggest cheers where when they showed highlights of the Eagles losing. There was a guy in a Wentz jersey a few seat in front of me. When Detroit went up 20-10 someone walked past him showing the score on their phone. It was hilarious.

Since 2017, he's gone 6-8.

Got outplayed by Dak last year at Arlington, and then played horribly against the same Saints team we beat. Even in Lincoln Financial, lots of Eagles fans looked dejected - in the 4th quarter Dak gets the job done, yet their own fans wore their "wt..f?" faces at the end he always comes up one drive short of Dak. Looked atrocious against the Falcons and could've been way worse if Ryan didn't gift him more opportunities with his bad mistakes. Foles takes over with the same team and has better success. What gives?

If the Commanders game didn't tell us anything about the Eagles, I guess the Lions game finally did. He had one great half of play this year and that was in the 2nd half of the Skins game.

It still proves that Wentz needs the help of the team around him in order to be successful and consistently win games. Yet, by the narrative of some people, they try to convince NFL fans that Dak needs all of the help in the world and that Wentz is so much head and shoulders above Dak that he can do more with lesser talent or can overcome the odds and win games where the team around him is injured or isn't executing and playing up to the team that the media hyped them up to be.

They built up Wentz to be so great that he can win consistently with lesser talent and that he can carry teams on his back that aren't playing well. But, want to say that he has no help when the Eagles lose. They can't have it both ways.

Ya, there's a heavy dose of reason for disliking Wentz ,of which you've clearly illustrated far better& more succinctly than I ever could've( as that particular aspect had entered my mind while pecking out my (2nd)initial participating post in this thread& I just as quickly flushed it on the basis of it being to much exerted effort on my end,in even properly pulling it off half as close of convincing fashion as you've done.

true and One great TE and a Good TE backup and somehow they are forcing balls to theor 3rd string WRs way down field..they are missing Djack and Alshon and somehow are not adjusting the eay they did when Wentz was out and foles was playing.. what happened to super coach? not checking down, running, and just moving chains vs chunk plays.. right now they are getting Wentz beat up with these deep patterns and missing 2 Linemen.. kind of odd..

to out advantage anyway , looking at how Peyton adjusted without brees and got nice win, the Eagles seem reluctant or stubborn..

Trading for Howard does not make much sense. They drafted Sanders in the 2nd round who does not appear to be all that good. Howard who has proven to be a good back gets less carries. Their two starting WRs are injury prone and not surprising they are out again.

Long season though we started 3-5 and finished to win division and go to the 2nd round of playoffs..anything can happen , way early to dismiss our competition..

I did not dismiss them. Just called out their questionable offseason moves and coaching. They acquired injury prone players and a good RB. They drafted a RB high and seem hell bent using him when he does not appear to be that good (time will tell). The RB they acquired that has proven to be good is used sparingly.
