It's not so much the distance as it is where the ball is spotted (in regards to the right side hash marks, dead center, or left side hash marks). From what I'm gathering (from listening to the fans, the writers, everyone) he seems to have problems if the ball is on the right side. If you have the ball dead center or to the left, he'll get most of them...
