El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

Watched it this morning.

If you liked Breaking Bad you will like this movie however I will admit it was a "little" bit of a let down in some ways...I think because I was missing breaking bad so much and overhyped this movie in my head.

I am worried about this myself and was actually talking about this with a friend last night. I made mention that I'm hopeful but am trying not to overhype it in my head. I'll find out this evening!

100% agree with this

Ok, so I finally watched it last night. It was good. I liked it. It did feel a little on the slow side, however, it was still entertaining and brought some good closure.

I can't believe Walter White came back as a zombie at the end! :p

:muttley:

Robert Forster just passed way on the day this was released. Always liked him in just about every role he played.

Since they had Todd play such a prominent role in this, I would have liked a flashback of Jesse taking him out. He was, by far, the creepiest character in the entire series.

Why would you need this when it happened in the last episode of the series.

Because I liked watching that scene, one of my favorites from the series. I would have preferred that to watching Jesse eat at the table with Walter. Just a thing of mine, I don't like watching pigs eat in a movie.

Makes no sense. We already saw that scene in the series. Move on to something which they gladly did.

Been accused of not making any sense before, let me have my pleasure, I like seeing Todd get strangled. Some like butterflies, babies smiling or kittens and puppies, I like Todd getting strangled.

Yeah, Todd was a sleaze bag. I think he was a psychopath. He seemed to have no empathy at all. I believe he saw himself as a really good guy. He was super focused on business and put his effort into doing a really good job, and normally that would be commendable, but he was in a ruthless business and was totally calm and collected about being ruthless. He could kill totally innocent people without any pangs at all of guilt, unlike Jesse. Jesse did some awful things, but they totally tore him up inside because he had a conscious. Todd was the opposite with no conscious whatsoever. He was totally in character in this movie. Same old Todd. I agree with whoever said he was the creepiest character in Breaking Bad. I cheered in the series when he got strangled. Man, he deserved it.

I did notice in the movie Todd has gained a lot of weight. Did you notice that?
