Why not?
Adams is the sort of player who is worth a first round pick, especially if it’s in the mid to late 20’s.
When you pick in the first round, you hope that you’ve got the player you want... Chucking in a second on top when you already know that the player is of the quality that Adams is, isn’t such a high price.
