If anyone wonders why Garrett needs to go, this game is why

Were you impressed last night with how we played?

I was impressed with the defense and how we closed out the game. Division rival on the road and we blew them out.

It was frustrating to watch at times but in the end we came back and stomped them. I was encouraged by not only the pass rush, but the run defense.

I also liked seeing Dak out there taking command of the offense and becoming a real field general.

All said I understand your frustration with how this game started and lots of sloppy play. Overall though it was a good game for us.

It was sad to watch how undisciplined this team is. Dumb dumb penalties over and over again. And it was leaders like Jaylon, Lawrence, Quinn, ect....ect.... doing a lot of it.

And Garrett sat there and did NOTHING but shake his head and pat fannies.

Dallas even came out at halftime and NOTHING changed. And the Cowboys were talking smack all game long like they had something to brag about. All this with 3 and 5 point leads at times.

After the game all the announcers were disgusted at how much talent the Cowboys had, but how sloppy they play. A few guys directly referencing Garrett and the coaching.
I mean...i agree about standing there and patting fannies...but they did win going away against an NFL team that has been playing better...

Tell that to New England when they lost in Miami, what was it, 4 or 5 years in a row? Divisional rivalry has an effect.

Not talking about divisional play. Talking about sloppy and undisciplined play.

Changing the subject wont help you make a valid point.

Very impressed by the play of the defense. Definitely not the discipline and penalties.

Overall I thought it was a horrible game.

Didnt hear the interview but it sounds like its really setting in for Jerry. Problem is all they have to do is go on a little roll and he will forget all of it.
Let’s hope the in spite of words become his mantra. Meaning we win in spite of Garrett and he needs to go.

Can I see the hands raised of the posters that didn't think Garrett had to go before this game?

However, let's be fair here. Name the HC's that would have gotten their teams up after manhandling the only challenger to the division going into a bye week and watching film of that team in preparation. The only thing worse than that OL and those OT's is the Giants' DL. They're a train wreck of a team and they're one real weapon needs space to operate and that OL can't give him any.

I am not making excuses for Garrett, because I am not a fan, but do we think we're the only ones that know the real rough water of this schedule begins Sunday night with a team as good, if not better, than the Cowboys and another right behind that. One game at a time doesn't apply here. Every player on that team is thinking about the run they need against a tough schedule.

Teams rise to the occasion. Let's see how this team performs on SNF and the following week in NE because the coaching staff won't have to worry about getting the players up for these next two.

And while we're waiting, if that GB at LAC game is on NFLN this week, catch that replay. They should cut Rodgers.

Who needs proof? I thought it was essentially understood, in Cowboys fandom world, that even with a Super Bowl win, JG is not wanted here. He would still be escorted out of town, gleefully I might add, and politely asked to never come back..or so I thought?

I had no idea there were still supporters.

So what is your solution, other than firing Garrett?

Smith - 2 holding calls, do you bench him?
Bennett - 3 penalties - 2 offsides and a hands to the face - bench him too
Lawrence - 2 Unnecessary roughness, not sure they showed either on tv, but let's teach him a lesson, bench him too.

Maybe Garrett should yell and scream at grown men who have been playing this game their whole life, don't hold, like they haven't been told that every day of their football life or how about don't go off sides, I wonder if Garrett even knows what that is, he should bone up on the rules so he can teach these players.

Getting mad at the coach because the players make mistakes is pretty silly. The players are playing the game, they know the rules. It's like if you show up late to work 10 days in a row, it's some how your bosses fault. Makes no sense. Yes, Dallas could fire them guys, like you would be fired, but then what.. we go into the next game with no D Lineman.

So wise one, how do you hold them accountable? They get fined for every penalty, that's what I heard from a few players I know (not cowboy players though). They said it is common around the league though.

Do you scold them? Maybe paddle them in front of the class?

Thank God we were playing the giants.
If we continue to execute poorly and be totally unfocused will be lucky to reach 8 and 8

Last night, after the game, the networks and their experts were all talking about how Garrett is holding the team back and how Garrett will never bring this team a championship. The local beat writers were going crazy about it, because they were bad mouthing Garrett. This morning, every morning show continues the same talk. The only thing holding the Cowboys from reaching the SB is the coach. He has reached his ceiling. I tend to agree with them and have said for a long time.

Garrett needed to go 4 years ago along with Jerry.

Garrett needs to go because of the damage he has done in Dallas to the integrity of the franchise and the NFL.
The coordinators keep Garrett in a job despite his incompetence, and that's wrong.

You can get away with that in the regular season.

Come playoff time all those dumb penalties will come back to haunt you.

The spread was what, 6 or 7? We won by 19. Give it a rest.

I think you'll find the score changed after half time, significantly.
Luckily. We have a rep as an undisciplined team under Deputy Dawg and we get hammered game in game out. It’s old seeing yellow after every other play.

Seems he's perpetuated the climate of complacency. I'd love to see Richards as the HC.

OK, one week a poster says, garrett should throw the flag at refs more often, despite getting penalized...this week, the team sticks up against Hernandez (71) and shows emotion and everyone wants to let garrett go. no matter how he acts, he is going to get blamed....
