Because McClay is a lynchpin in the process that has drafted as many pro bowlers as anyone. The only position where they’ve really struggled is DL. And I think the struggle has a lot to do with input from certain coordinators.

It could be but that’s the NFL. Cowboys were close to having Johnny Manziel, Paxton Lynch and Connor Cook as their starting quarterbacks.
