Sounds like Jesse Penn and Billy Cannon Jr. all over again. He is going to have to have surgery. Neck and back are worst that a knee or ankle.

I hope it is not career ending and he can come back fully, win a Super Bowl, get into the ROH, and live a productive life after football which is the main thing.

That said; potentially could be must worse. Neck is injury’s are scary.

I hope not!!!

I am not so sure it's premature...these are very serious injuries and not confident they just calm down. Very unfortunate for the kid, and hope things improve.

Jason Garrett confirmed Leighton Vander Esch will not play Sunday at New England because of a neck injury. Garrett said it is not "career threatening," and Vander Esch would be able to return but it is not clear whether he will be able to play this season. Garrett called Vander Esch "week to week," and the injury has to "calm down," with rest. He also said it is not related to the concerns teams had about Vander Esch's neck entering last year's draft.

IMO they simply let him rush back..thats what hes saying.. lots of big games , so they threw him back out to soon.. Amari should rest more as well but we cant afford it..LVE will be fine with proper rest and healing..
