Here is the hard reality.

Dak prescott will never play on an offense as good as the 2016 offense again and they didnt even win a playoff game. that offense was 3 years in the making and Elliott was the piece to put them over the top. Dak was not asked to win games week to week.

The situation is entirely different now. IF they pay him then the talent around him will go down even more and the line is getting old fast.

This is a real tough spot for the next coach.
