This is based on if Jason Garrett is extended. As we know senile Jerry just may do that.

2 years ago I made a statement, and got blasted for it, and still do.
I said after the 2017 season that the Browns are closer to a SB than the Cowboys.
I am still sticking to that, and they are much better now than then. They are on the upswing. Their issue also has been coaching. However they show they are willing to make a change to try to improve upon that.

Maybe Kitchens is the guy, maybe not, but if not, they will at least make a change, unlike the delusional senile guy in charge in Dallas.

So now I will say this. The Bengals may even be closer to a SB than Dallas, IF Jason stays, as we will never be better than they are now.
At least the Bengals made a coaching change finally, and I do not think they will give Taylor 16 years to prove he is the guy. Like they did Lewis.

Bengals will get some high draft picks, and they need to replace Dalton, but they will trade for more picks or select Chase Young. Which I hope they do.

Now get a new coaching staff, I will change my opinion about the Bengals, maybe the Browns depending on who the coach is.
Ok blast away at this one too, or heck maybe many will agree this time.

if garrett is back next year, I'm done watching

My interest will be at an all time low for sure.
So I say now, but I sure won't expect much no matter how many lies they tell us about how talented they are.

And there is no way Jason Garrett is coming back. You can forget about that. It's not even worth bringing up

Oh yeah? Do you have a telepathic link into Jerry's brain? I wouldn't bet a single nickel on whether JG stays or goes, but after yesterday's man-love speech by Jerry I would lean heavily towards JG staying.

You would be stupid then.

There are numerous reports out there that Jason is a dead man walking. Good luck believing what that idiot Jerry Jones says. I'll believe what just about every other person is reporting instead.

It's different now than it was in 2010 when Jerry claimed Wade was safe then fired him a week later. Jerry was never that close to Wade and never gave him a tearful broke back mountain speech proclaiming his love like he did yesterday to Garrett.

Believe the press all you want, but yesterday told me JG was much closer to getting an extension (for doing a terrible job, no less) than he is to being sent packing.

I have absolutely no idea how you can feel this way. Just because Jerry refuses to fire Jason mid-season, which we all knew wouldn't happen anyway, doesn't mean anything. Jerry has already come out and said Jason has to win the super bowl...we all know that is not happening. He's gone. It's over. The only question is will Jerry hire a real coach or will he hire another puppet.

The Browns are an example of the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Their coaches are in constant flux, while we cling to ours way too long. I think both FOs have it wrong.

That expansion team in London Goodell desperately wants is closer than the Cowboys with Garrett in charge.

Another problem is the talent waste. We had the talent this year to go further than last year. And the staff has wasted it. I watched JG yesterday right before the game started. He smiles and was just stares at something without blinking. It kind of creeped me out. My wife even said something like what the (you know what) is he looking at. I still don’t know but it looked like he was realizing this could be the last game he coached for the team. Of course most of us know he could lose out and still not be fired until the end of the year. He is probly a nice guy and I would like to hear some of the stories he could tell. But he hit his ceiling as a HC a long time ago. JJ has at least one of his hands tied. And any coach that takes this job next will have the same problem. The player talent will be on decline after this season. Some lucky person is going to get this wreck of a team to coach.
