Anyone have a #55 update? Would love to see him back.
I haven't seen an update, but my best guess is that they'll hold him out again Thursday night and give him 10 more days to recoup. If he's not 100%, it makes no sense not to give him the mini-bye for more recovery. That said, if he's 100%, then let him get back out there!

Dallas doesn't need to beat the bears or rams to make the playoffs. They don't have to rush LVE back on the field. Look for JG to drop at least 1 of the games, then go all in to beat the eagles, then piss_away the skins game resting for the super bowl run!

It will be interesting to see how they approach the Rams game if they lose Thursday. Could see a lot of guys who have been fighting thru injuries take that week off, giving thema full 2 weeks before even having to practice for Philly.

Looking forward to more missed tackles, coverage snafus and bad angles from 55.

I may be overly cautious, and i'm not sure with the level of severity with his neck, but with Garrett "leaking' that it's " not career threatening ", that
gave me creepy vibes to where i'd wish they would sit out rest of the season with LVE, and get him away from the pounding and wear for now and restart him up
next season.

Even though another problem is, this is where you find out the level of your LB depth with only Joe Thomas, Marcus Lillard (yikes) and super-green rookie Luke Gifford.
Amazingly how Sean Lee has remained relatively healthy - maybe the early amount of so less snaps at SLB has helped a lot, but in these last few games, he's really been
wearing down and it's showing.
Thomas has not faired well in the last 2 games, could the flu bug that derailed him be in a factor in that ?
Lillard is strictly a special teamer and mediocre vs run and in coverage.
and Gifford would still be game day inactive if not for LVE's absence.

He is done for this year. Nobody wants to talk about it.

The issue now is whether he gets surgery. I am sure he does not want it.

But they need to make up their minds as soon as the season is over.

We simply cannot go into April wondering "gee, I wonder how Leighton's neck is doing" and keep whistling as we past the graveyard.
