DLAW has been getting a lot of flack on here b/c he doesn't have the fancy sack numbers. But there isn't a better DE against the run and the double teams he sees have freed up Quinn.

I don't have an issue. I just haven't seen enough from half of these players to quantify them being in the top 10 of their positions, but stats do not lie.

I'm actually not surprised, being that DLaw seemingly has been playing DLine and LB at the same time..the latter half better than those we actually have at the position.

I think it was the New England game..the dude just kept popping up and tackling the Backs for no gain..out of nowhere.

I know sacks make headlines or whatever, but it's nice to have a good presence stopping the run as well.

Having a few players ranked in the top doest necessarily mean the team as a whole is going to thrive.

Well, PFF grades every player on every play. Thats their motto. It is not a perfect measure but more useful than just looking at raw stats. Having 5 guys out 22 starting positions in the top 10 is no feather in the cowboys hat.

Tyrone Smith? To many big penalties. Of course I am not counting the phantom tripping penalty vs NE. He has been mediocre vs Speed rushers.

He started the season red hot (playing at an all-pro level) then Dak crashed into his ankle and his rating drastically went down the next 3 games since he was basically crippled

His rating hasn't really gone up or down the last 3 games.

He is for sure not an all-pro but he's EASILY a pro bowl level LT (last time i looked he was ranked higher than 7 out of the 8 left tackles that made last years pro bowl).

He's supposedly a "penality machine" yet all these pro bowl caliber tackles (Leno, Bakhtiarai, Lewan, Whitworth, Penn) all have more penalties than him............. (lol)

Dlaw has played insanely well against the run. Everyone wants to hate on him, is it funny that Pollard is ranked above Zeke pff wise, I think not.
