Cousins has made a lot of money. If that’s the route Dak takes....he’s going to be rich.

What's with the cousin hate.... he is and has always been better than Dak. Not really directed at you I just seen more comparisons between him and Dak.

Dak is terrible he has and will always hold the ball to long and throw high and behind his receivers.

Come this spring demand for Dak will be very little and no team will even offer over 20 million a year for his services.
Don't listen to these Dak-Groupies here who are selling crazy daily and trust your eyes and the results 6-7 currently and we still haven't beaten a quality team!
Dak will go down as another GM Jerry mistake (aka Jimmy) that cost us Romo a true franchise QB and wasted another 4 years....maybe more?

Ahhhhh man you are just a troll. Ain't nobody listening to you... lol.

I approve your message.

By the way. JJ is still going to sign Dak. Just letting you all know.
I agree. Dak will be signed, but no longer at the $40m number. Probably something in the $30-33m range, still plenty of coin and his endorsements are at least $5m per year. A very rich young man. Jerry likes him obviously and rightfully so. I think we can win with him.

I can't defend Dak anymore, he just doesn't have what it takes, but don't discount other teams stupidity to overpay. Brock Lobster got 70 million from the Texans.

Whether you love or hate Dak, whether you want him to be a Cowboys player or not, or whether you think he is worth it or not, Dak is going to get a huge contract from some team.

I don't know what to think anymore. I see flashes from Dak where I think he could be good enough to win and then I see him play erratically and it breaks my hope. To be honest I'd be OK with a franchise tag and a new coaching staff for a year to see what they could get out of him. Outside that, I'd rather not see him get a huge deal but time will tell................

I'm pretty convinced, with a new regime coming in, that Dak will be franchise tagged. It'll be the result of contract talks failing, but it is also the best move. Dak right now is the best option next year for Dallas, but they also don't commit to him long term (yet).

I haven't given up on Dak yet like a lot of fans had (a lot of those fans gave up on Dak the moment he was named the starter, but whatever). He clearly has his flaws, but also has proven that he can carry this team at tough times. I want to see what Dak can do under new, hopefully more competent leadership.

Dak is average. You don't have a better option currently. Franchise him and pray that Tua drops to the Cowboys pick of the first round. If Urban is the coach, he'll draft him.

I honestly think Kitna told Jerry to hold off on Dak. As the season progresses he is constantly throwing behind his receivers. The first 6 games the ball was getting there most of the time, lately its more late than on time. Bad sign.
The nerve of Kitna, if he did such.

Dak will get franchised in Dallas.

Cooper may or may not be around.

It actually is set up nice to see what the HC wants in a QB, to see if he can deal with Dak, or, does he find another QB, if Jerry lets him. LOL

Course, the HC is still gonna have to deal with Zeke, Tank, Jaylon to name a few.

His best choice is Pittsburgh, imo. They're one of the best at building rosters and they seem consistently a 10 win team. Probably won't get $30 million, but at this point he should just sign and not take any more gambles like this. It's not smart anymore.

Not to mention, when we play Pittsburgh next year. Dak vs the Cowboys.... can't wait for that one.

Dak aint going to Pittsburgh IMO. They paid Bell 12 mil over 5 years. Dak and his agent ain't getting paid from Pittsburgh and Dak's agent, Todd France of CAA is all about money. I don't see this happening but who knows?

He's just not very good.
Lol dude
Oh the pain....poor Jerry thought he had found lighting in a bottle in the 4th round with Dak only to end up now with a below average QB which he will have to tag to keep till he finds another prospect.
And the talent on the team is getting older and beaten up like Smith,Martin,Fred,Zeke etc etc.
Plus he blew the Coop trade cause in order to keep him he has to over pay him.
Jerry here's some advice...swallow your pride trade up in the draft or trade for Foles, Bridgewater, and cut ties with Dak as the kid simply is bench material at best and even tagging him is a waste of good Cap dollars and move on.
Oh the pain and the stupidity of GM Jerry then we wonder how a quarter of a century has passed and haven't even been to the NFL champ game.

Below Average? Did he bang your wife?
