How does one get the most out of a glasses making, pro-bowl obsessed, pimp-witch wannabe that lacks basic football fundamentals? Bill Belichick himself would not be capable of saving Jaylon Smith. He is dead weight like his QB. 2016 was a bust draft minus Zeke (who only shows up every other game now).
Lol im just letting you know the truth bro

"Still, the surgery carries potential long-term implications of consequence.

Dr. Neel Anand works in Los Angeles as a professor of orthopaedic surgery and director of spine trauma at Cedars-Sinai Spine Center. He has not personally evaluated Vander Esch but is familiar with spinal stenosis and disk issues in sports, having worked with current and retired athletes. Anand cautioned about NFL career longevity concerns for Vander Esch if disk problems persist.

To undergo this neck surgery once is one thing.

Should it be done again, Anand said, a serious conversation about Vander Esch's career would be required. Essentially, the January surgery is significant because it removes an important buffer between Vander Esch and a second neck surgery that would mandate a hard look at retirement.

"If it happens again, I'm quite sure it would be a good idea not to play," Anand said in a recent phone interview. "You're risking the spinal cord. At the end of the day, your spinal cord takes precedence over any amount of athleticism or whatever incentives are involved. It is your spinal cord. So I think if you get it the second time around, most people would advise not to play. The risk is just too much. ... Nobody wants a spinal cord injury. No."

Yea, I watched David Wrights’ career from day one. Once he finally got diagnosed with stenosis, he was out of the league in a few seasons. It took a toll and baseball is a minimal contact sport.

They were zeroes in on LVE for 2-3 months before the draft. How the hell did they not know about this?

Remember the debates here on CZ a month ago where people jumped up and down indicating that the spinal stenosis thing was just a vicious rumor and that he just had a "stinger" in college?

Yea, the rooster has finally come home to roost now.

I doubt he plays again.
If he does, he won't play past next September.

Well if we can get 3 more good productive seasons out of him I’d say it’s still a good pick. No way he’s getting a long term deal.

No way. You don't draft a guy in the 1st round to only get good productive years and then dump him. 1st round picks are used to build your team around and they should be in peak form by the time you are saying we should get rid of him.

LVE and Jaylon will go down as disasters. Both dropped because of serious injury concerns. We pick both. Will be burned by both. Also burned by Randy Gregory.

Lol at comparing Dak to Jaylon. They are not even close to the same. Jaylon is a bum who had one fluke season. Dak has never even came close to having a year like Jaylon did this season.

This is a different era. Try Telling the pats that. If LVE plays at his 2018 level for the next 3 seasons it was a good pick. I never mentioned Jaylon you did he’s another story.
