Finishing 8-8 vs 7-9, how many spots did this win cost us? 4-5? I know there will be a few teams tied at 8-8 and 7-9, but this meaningless win cost us position in the draft.

Teams miss on players all the time and players fall because of it. As long as the team is prepared for the draft they are fine. The whole point is to win the games you play.

If Jerrahs in charge they will probably draft someone who has some sort of ailment, someone coming off a career ending injury or someone with behaviour issues...

Cause Jerrahs done so well redeeming all these players in the past

Probably reach on an injured player or a player with off the field issues anyway. That player will still be there at 17.

This is a significant drop. But we can hope the teams above us go crazy for QBs and RBs.

We were still playing for the division.

We were never going to be any higher than 14 or 15. So it cost us 2 or 3 spots.
And knowing the way drafts go, who ever is there at 17, we still would pick at 14. So it makes no difference.

I went through the scenario last week, and too many 7-9 and 6-8 teams playing each other or playing teams they would have lost to. No way we were getting to #12.
