No, i just think a lot of fans are leaving the darkness and understanding the light
Then what is the point? The fault does not rest with them but those expecting them to wail at the losing wall. It is a job to them and they all realize they're hired guns and will travel.
I wonder how those players we revere from the past would be in this modern NFL? Think it wouldn't be all about the gold to them too?
Fans have always taken losing harder and for longer than the players. The only exception is when they lose the big one and realize what got away, like those Atlanta players still on the team. And those Patriots that let the only 19-0 season slip away. And those Bills that were bridesmaids 4 straight times.
As far as Jaylon Smith is concerned, he's just happy to be there. He seems like a happy guy and he smiles most of the time, that's his personality. And as positive a guy as he seems to be, he had to have doubts that he would still be in the NFL, let alone a nice 2nd contract.
If you were a player on that team, would you be excited about extending this season for less pay? Think these guys have enjoyed life in the media and all of the speculation about this team? I am surprised they put in that effort against the Skins. I think this entire team is ready for the next chapter.
Yes. Jaylon and Lawrence are my two most hated players on the team after Prescott.
I agree thats certainly part of it, but it became increasingly obvious as the season went on that many of our guys either have very little awareness or dont mind losing. Celebrating routine plays while getting curb stomped is a losers attitude and I really hope the next coach puts an end to that.
My problem with Smith is he isn't very good and he was way overpaid
it sure seams that way...Sometimes I think we take losing worse than the players.

Looking at what he quoted, it appears you originally phrased it in a way that made it seem like you were speaking on behalf of the whole forum.Thank you for informing me of who I hate more.
This is why they all love Garrett btw- no fear for their jobs.
You have got to move beyond the release of Swaim. You can't dwell on such things. It's not good for the soul.Thank you for informing me of who I hate more.
When the head coach has a huge smile on his face after losing games, and has an indifferent attitude in his press conferences it becomes team culture. Jerry as well, 25 years of losing and won't make any significant changes in the way the team is run. When these are the turds you see running the team, the players have little to strive for in winning attitudes.Watching Jalon Smith on the sidelines and in post-game interviews, you'd think we were playoff bound. And Jalon is not alone. I saw many players who are comfortable with losing. I respect players who hate to lose but I guess the Jones culture is a way of life now where competing is the new winning. What a bunch of gutless losers the Jones culture has produced.
I remember watching Staubach, Drew Pearson, Michael Irvin, etc who hated to lose and willed their team to victory. Well I guess fond memories from the good old days are all we fans have left unless you buy Jerry's fools gold he sells every September.
And don't forget Tank actually blaming the fans. They are getting paid. Seems to be all that matters. Fans are more invested than the players any more.
