This is a dumb thread. Interviews are scheduled, and I don’t think Jerry missed an important meeting to be in Aspen New Years Eve. Or do we think by being in Aspen Jerry May have missed a surprise New Years Eve visit from some great coach that wasn’t previously on his radar?

Broaddus has said multiple times on the Fan this morning that one thing he knows about the Jones family is that they operate on their own time.

He doesn't expect a resolution today.

Beside the point. It's more than just "operating on their own time."

That much is not news.

What is news is that there have been two meetings for "talks," and a third planned supposedly for today.

People who keep talking about Jerry stretching this out seem to be oblivious to the fact that he could stretch it out without having "talks" going on.

To the contrary, just rationally, the very fact that there are talks, plural, is indicative that there is something of substance being discussed, and the fact that there was no resolution already is indicative that the talks are well beyond simply "are we keeping Jason Garrett."

Many if not most of us outsider fans realize that, independent of any comment Broaddus... who wasn't, by the way, an exceptional source of insight even when he was in the building... has about it.
